Miffy x Zipster: New Miffy Clothing Collection

We have been keeping a very special secret.

Today, we are incredibly excited to introduce Miffy x Zipster: a playful new collection created for babies, children and parents, inspired by one of the most recognisable characters from our own childhoods.

Launching across Europe on 20 August, the collection brings the bold, optimistic world of Dick Bruna together with everything we love about Zipster: soft fabrics, practical designs, comfortable fits and clothing made for real family life.

From our childhood to theirs

For so many of us, Miffy was simply always there.

On the bookshelf. In the nursery. At bedtime. In the stories our parents read to us over and over again.

And then something rather lovely happens: you become a parent yourself, and suddenly the characters you remember from your own childhood begin appearing in your children's lives too.

That feeling was at the heart of this collection.

We wanted to create something that would give parents that little spark of recognition, while feeling completely fresh and exciting for the babies and children wearing it today.

Inspired by Dick Bruna's iconic colours

The collection takes inspiration from the original bold and bright colour palette associated with Dick Bruna's work.

Think joyful primary colours, playful florals, graphic checks and instantly recognisable Miffy illustrations, all interpreted through Zipster's clean and contemporary aesthetic.

There are five main sleepwear prints: Peek-a-Boo Blue, Hello Yellow, Daisy Days, Starry Sleep and Checkered Bloom.

And we didn't stop at sleepwear.

Comfort has always been at the heart of Zipster.

Our Miffy Zipsters, children's pyjama sets, adult pyjamas and bodysuits are made from our signature 95% bamboo, 5% elastane fabric.

It is wonderfully soft, breathable and stretchy, making it particularly comfortable for sleep and for little bodies that rarely stop moving.

Our Zipsters also feature the practical details parents know and love, including a two-way zip that makes night-time changes significantly easier.

Because however beautiful a pair of baby pyjamas may be, they still need to work at 3am.

Made for everyday memories

When we thought about how to bring the collection to life, we kept coming back to the same idea: childhood isn't made up only of big adventures.

It is made from thousands of little moments.

The Miffy x Zipster collection launches across Europe on 20 August at Zipster.

Children's sizes span from newborn upwards across the collection, with selected clothing available for children up to eight years and complementary styles for women and men.

We hope this collection brings a little nostalgia to the grown-ups, a lot of joy to the little ones and plenty of memories for everyone in between.
